7月24日放送『関ジャム 完全燃SHOW』（テレビ朝日系）が行ったのは、玉置浩二の特集。安全地帯としてデビュー40周年、ソロとしては35周年を迎え、ファンのリクエスト投票によるベストアルバムを7月25日にリリースしたばかりの玉置。そのタイミングに合わせての、今回の企画のようだ。
