11月19日に日曜劇場『下剋上球児』（TBS系）の第6話が放送された。甲子園を目指す下剋上ストーリーは中盤を迎えながらも、いまだチームの核となる監督が定まらない越山高校野球部。待望の南雲脩司（鈴木亮平）の監督復帰に向けて、野球部員たちは2017年の夏の予選で下剋上の狼煙をあげる会心の放送回となった。
