ロッテの佐々木朗希投手が2月25日に行われた韓国のロッテジャイアンツとの練習試合で、今シーズン初登板。だが、1回無失点で抑えたものの、裏では大ブーイングが起こっていたというから穏やかではない。
佐々木は2月19日まで沖縄県石垣島でのキャンプに参加後、空路那覇入り。20日からは糸満市にあるキャンプ地で調整していた。
